Procedure for Odisha MC Property/ House Tax Payment Online

  2. Then, a home page of the website will open before you.
  3. Now you have to register yourself if you are coming for the first time or login.
  4. Then, go to the Online Service section and click on property tax.
  5. Now a new page will open where you have to search property by owner name or property ID.
  6. After that, click on the search button.

ULB Odisha Holding Tax OMC & Calculation

There are two types of property residential and commercial and both tax systems are a little bit different. Let’s first discuss residential property;

There are three stages of property calculation.

  • Stage 1:- Plinth Area of the holding in Square Meter (x) Rs. 13.65
  • Stage 2:- Subtract fifteen percent (15%) of the Plinth Area against repair and maintenance
  • Stage 3:- Now Add 0.5% of the land cost where the holding of residential property is located.

Annual Value = Stage 1 + Stage 2 – Stage 3

Holding Tax is charged as @17.5 percent per annum of the Annual Value.

Holding Tax is charged as 10%

Latrine Tax is charged at 2.5%

And Street Light is charged as 5%

Commercial Property:

  • Stage 1:- Here the user has to add the civil cost of the building (+) the cost of PH and Electric fitting.
  • Stage 2:- In this stage, the user has to take 7.5% of the value that comes through Stage 1.
  • Stage 3:- Now Add 0.5% of the land cost with Stage 2
  • Stage 4:- 17.5% of the cost which we get at Stage 3 is the Holding Tax can be paid yearly.

  1. You have to open the Paytm mobile application and go to the tax segment.
  2. Click on the property tax.
  3. Now search your Municipal Corporation as “Odisha Municipal Corporation”.
  4. Then, you have to enter your property ID.
  5. Now you can access your property details.
  6. Check your property tax and click on the payment button.
  7. Enter the PIN for payment.
  8. You will get a receipt to your linked email ID.
