To pay the property/ house tax online in Imphal Municipal Corporation (IMC), citizens need to visit the official site and follow the below steps;

  1. Click on the following official webpage link => https://louchapathap.nic.in/egras/frmPayTax.aspx.

  3. Then Click on Pay the land tax. Once you click on the same you will see a few options below District, Circle, Village, New patta number, and New Dag Number.
  4. Click on the Proceed button you will then be redirected to a new page.
  5. You can then see the Payment button. Click on the proceed to payment.
  6. By using a debit or credit card you can complete the payment with the help of a debit or credit card complete the payment process.

  • Then Click on the Citizen Corner button then click on the Verify land tax payment option button.
  • Enter the details there your District, Circle, Village, New patta, and transaction ID the one which you received once you made the payment.
  • You will then be redirected to a new page wherein you can see the land tax payment history.
  • Select the month or year receipt you wish to download and then take the print of the same. Please keep the print receipt for the same.

Mutation of Property in Imphal Municipal Corporation (IMC)

Mutation of property refers to the process of updating the land revenue records with the local revenue authority to reflect a change in ownership or other property details. Apart from the online mode of Payment the taxpayers can also visit the Municipal Corporation office and make the payment following documents are required to submit along with cash, cheque, or DD for payment. These documents are required for Vacant land

  12. Third-Party Verification Copy.
  13. Decree document.
  14. Notarized Affidavit Cum Indemnity Bond on Rs 100 stamp paper.
  15. Registered Sale deed.
  16. MRO Proceedings.
  17. Copy of Death Certificate or succession certificate whichever is applicable.
  18. Photo of land with owner.
  19. LRS Regularization if applicable.

Imphal Municipal Corporation has laid down certain rules for payment of tax especially for Vacant land for example if the owner pays tax for vacant land without even registering it will lead to a penalty. However, agricultural land is exempted from the Property tax.
