  3. You will then be redirected to a new page enter your Property Assessment Number there.
  4. On the next page click on the Current year tax.
  5. You will then be redirected to a new page where you can Check your property details there.
  6. On the same page right-hand side, you will see a scanner under which you can see Scan the property online.
  7. Next step you can then scan and pay the tax online with your gpay or any other UPI app.
  8. If you wish to make the payment through a debit or credit card on the next page you can see the bill details below and towards the bottom end of the page, the outstanding bill payment click on the next button on the next page you can enter the debit or credit card number and make the payment.

  • Click on the official web page link
  • On the home page on the left-hand side click on the button Click here to Download the bill.
  • Next page enter your Assessee number click on the Go button then click on the Submit button.
  • On the next page, you can see the Bill Number select the bill number.
  • Then download the receipt take the print and save it for future reference.

Howrah MC Property Tax Self Assessment & Mutation

To file for Self Assessment and Mutation:- Please click on the official web page link All documents related to Mutation or self-assessment like the Property deed, Affidavit, Parcha, the Mutation application fee, and forms along with these documents need to be submitted to the local municipal corporation.

Steps for HMC Property/ House Tax Payment via Paytm App

Apart from the official webpage, taxpayers can also make the payment through the PAYTM app. Here are the following steps to make the payment through the app.

  1. Open the Paytm app once you have downloaded the same.
  2. Next, select Kolkatta Municipal Corporation. Enter your Assesee number.
  3. You will then be able to see your Property details.
  4. Click on the month and year for which you wish to pay the property tax.
  5. Then with your payment app, you can continue with the payment part.
  6. Once the bill is generated download the same. The bill will also be emailed to your current email ID.
