How to Pay Property/ House/ Flats Tax at Gurgaon @mcg.gov.in?
There are 2 ways to pay property/ house tax one is the online method and the second is the offline method.
Let’s discuss the steps to Pay Gurugram Property Tax Online;
- Visit the official website https://www.mcg.gov.in/. On the left-hand side bottom, you will find a tab on property tax. Please find the reference image below.
- Search Property Details. If you don’t have property ID details please fill in details such as Name, address, zone, locality, and ward
- Then click on Search. The amount which needs to be paid will be mentioned there.
- Payment can be made through debit or credit card.
- Receipt will be generated one has to save the receipt for future reference.
Similarly, Payments can also be made through E-wallets like Paytm App.
Steps for Gurugram Property Tax Payment Offline Mode
If one wishes to pay the tax offline he can visit the Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon or any property tax collection centers. The person has to then provide his property details, property ID name, and address. Payment can be made in cash or via Credit or debit card. Alternatively one can also visit the Oriental Bank of Commerce branch to pay the tax.

- Click on Get Tax Amount
- MCG property tax will be displayed on the screen. Click on the make payment and select the mode of payment.

Properties that are exempted from paying tax include places of religious worship like temples gurudwara or mosque, vacant land used for agricultural purposes Residential properties of defense personnel which are self-occupied wherein the area is not more than 300 square yards, freedom fighters’ family and deceased family of the solider are exempted from paying the tax. If property tax is paid before July 31st, a 10 percent rebate will be provided to the owner.
